The Designs For Charity Collection
This growing and carefully curated collection has been created to benefit non-profit programs for grieving children. Often found in the collection are sisters, Maya & Senna - the daughters of DLK founder, Kim Wardell and the inspiration behind the collection. Sadly in 2014 they lost their father very suddenly and unexpectedly just before the start of DLK, also the inspiration for it.
Each piece is thoughtfully designed with love in collaboration with wonderful designers, inspired by the past and encouraged by the future... and every once in a while you may catch a glimpse of their father, Scott who they like to think is skateboarding on the moon today.
WHY DO I ALWAYS SEE
the Moon?
DLK daughters, Maya & Senna like to think of their father as if he's watching over them every day, doing his favorite activity skateboarding on the moon. That's why the DLK logo has forever since been the beautiful and iconic, crescent moon.

Proceeds Benefit Circle Camps non-profit organization
The first item in the collection began with a coloring book style story created a s gift from their mother to help remind the girls to "FIND THE BEAUTY IN EVERY DAY" A quote she often uses to remind herself and others to pick up and use your experiences to inspire one another. Today the collection grows in an effort to raise funds in sponsoring other children who have lost a very special person in their life, donating all proceeds from the collection.
